Some less-than-sastisfactory replacements for Faststone are XnViewMP and IrFanview. I have written to them a couple of times to ask if they have any plans for a Mac version and have never gotten an answer. The one thing I regret about moving from Windows to Mac is the loss of Faststone. I have asked this question in the forum before, and the answer really is that there is nothing like Faststone for the Mac. It's just not as convenient for the purpose as FastStone. I have Photo Mechanic installed on this new Mac, and can certainly use this app as a JPG viewer.
Just added a MacBook Pro, and one of the immediate needs is to find a JPG viewer as convenient and useful as FastStone on Windows. What is the best alternative to FastStone on a Mac?.
